Okha–Beyt Dwarka Sudarshan Setu (Signature Bridge)

The Okha–Beyt Dwarka Signature Bridge is an ambitious cable-stayed bridge project, poised to connect Beyt Dwarka island in the Gulf of Kutch with Okha on Gujarat’s mainland.

About Bet-Dwarka Bridge

This monumental structure, extending 2320 meters, is being constructed by SP Singla Construction (SPSC) at an estimated cost of Rs 962.43 crore. Initiated in October 2017, the bridge was projected to be completed in 36 months.

It will feature a 27.2-meter wide deck, accommodating two vehicular lanes alongside a 2.5-meter pedestrian walkway on both sides. The 1MW solar-mounted roof is an innovative addition designed to offer shade, demonstrating a commitment to green energy solutions. The pylons, a critical component of its structure, are expected to soar to 150 meters, contributing to the bridge’s iconic stature.

Bet-Dwarka Signature Bridge Opening Date (New Name Sudarshan Setu)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this Beyt Dwarka Sudarshan Setu (Signature Bridge) on 25th February 2024 (Monday), showcasing the latest in engineering and eco-friendly design.
